Hardware Marketing - Strategy HP opens centre in Chennai
Chennai, Aug. 7 Hewlett-Packard India opened a business solutions centre in Chennai today in partnership with Precision Infomatic, which will “offer customers a chance to experience all HP products under one roof.” According to Mr Ashok Pamidi, Director-Commercial Accounts, SMB & Enterprise Partners, Hewlett-Packard India, “Manned by HP-trained personnel, the centre would also offer consultancy services to clients on IT deployment required for their organisations. 8221; The centre will showcase HP’s latest product portfolio including servers, desktops, notebooks, workstations, printers and accessories. “It’s a new concept from the HP stable to cater to mid-market businesses, as mid-sized and growing business are key focus segments for HP in India,” said Mr Ashok Pamidi. This is the company’s first such centre and it plans to open similar centres with strong partnerships in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai and Pune in the next few months. “We propose to open around 20 such centres in the next nine months in Tier-I and Tier-II cities across the country,” he said. — Our Bureau
