Emgee Cables launches new range

Chennai, Aug. 7

Jaipur-based Emgee Cables & Communications Ltd, manufacturer of electrical and electronic wires and telecommunication cables, has launched a new range of chloride and lead-free (CLF) electrical wires for residential buildings. The difference between the CLF wires and conventional cables is that the latter will emit toxic smoke when a short-circuit happens — the CLF wires will not, Mr Shripal Choudhari, Managing Director, Emgee Cables, said at a launch function here recently.

CLF wires are manufactured in compliance with American and European standards at the company’s facility in Jaipur. The new product is now available across the country. The company has appointed the Chennai-based Sun Electronics as super stockist for the Tamil Nadu region. Emgee Cables supplies its products to Government and private entities in the telecom sector, defence, hotels and hospitals. Besides, it also sells the home security system of the Australian brand Paxen; “with that we now provide complete wiring and security solutions”, said Mr Choudhari. – Our Bureau
