The zari used in Mysore Silk is pure and has a gold content of 0.65 per cent and silver 65 per cent. The designs are a blend of tradition and modernity.

The company has obtained Geographical Indication Registration for ‘Mysore Silk’ in accordance with the provisions of the Geographical Indication of Goods (Registration and Protection Act) 1999 passed by Parliament.
