Nature’s Basket relaunch

Mumbai, Aug. 8

Godrej Agrovet is re-launching its Nature’s Basket retail outlets as ‘authentic world food’ stores. It has launched an upgraded format of its existing stores in Mumbai with a new look and feel, with an added section for international gourmet foods ranging from wines to cheeses. The company has roped in design house Fitch and Madison Retail to upgrade its existing stores across the city.

At a press conference, Mr C.K. Vaidya, Managing Director, Godrej Agrovet, said: “There has been a shift in the brand positioning of Nature’s Basket by ushering in a new international flavour.” While the old Nature’s Basket stores would continue to exist, the company is launching new upgraded stores in Mumbai with the new positioning. Targeting the affluent section of society, Nature’s Basket is expected to cater to families exposed to international lifestyles, including diplomats. The company expects to launch 75 to 100 stores within the next two years across the country. At present, Nature’s Basket has 8 operational stores in Mumbai. — Our Bureau
