STPI award for Acropetal

Bangalore, Aug. 9

Acropetal Technologies Ltd has been adjudged first among the “Fastest Grown SME Companies in Karnataka” by the Software Technology Parks of India. It won the award for its excellent financial performance, registering almost a six-fold increase in revenues in 2006-07 from the previous year. The revenues stood at over Rs 40 crore in 2006-07, up from Rs 7.65 crore in 2005-06. Acropetal offers a wide range of business solutions which include data warehousing, enter prise portals, extranets, CRM solutions and supply chain management services. The company has clients mostly in the US, Europe and West Asia. The company aims to achieve a turnover of Rs 60 crore this year, an increase of 50 per cent. Another Bangalore-based software service company Iteamic, focussing on financial services segment, has also been awarded ‘Certificate of Excellence’. —
