Mundu suite for Apple’s iPhone

Bangalore, Aug. 9

Mumbai-based Geodesic Information Systems has developed an instant messenger for iPhone. Mundu IM-iPhone Edition has been designed specifically for Apple’s touch screen mobile phone. The iPhone does not have instant messaging now.Geodesic’s Mundu suite includes instant messaging, internet telephony and radio.

Geodesic put these features on the iPhone to enable its users instant messaging while on the move. With Mundu IM-iPhone Edition, iPhone users will have access to seamless chat across leading IM services such as AIM, MSN, Yahoo and Google Talk. “Mundu IM-iPhone Edition not only demonstrates Geodesic’s ability to identify future markets, but also to leverage its technological prowess to rapidly create products needed by those markets. It is to Geodesic’s credit that this product is rated so highly by users in terms of both performance and user-experience,” said Mr Atul Chitnis, Geodesic’s Senior Vice-President for Products, in a statement by the company. —
