Ozone Media, Crackle tie-up

Bangalore, Aug. 9

Ozone Media has partnered with Sony Pictures Entertainment’s Crackle, a streaming entertainment network dedicated to discovering, promoting and distributing emerging video creators to Indian audiences. Crackle offers content creators unique access to career-making opportunities via contests run on premium channels. For example, the best video creators will have an opportunity to release their film theatrically and work with artists from Sony Pictures Imageworks, a vi sual effects and animation company, via contests run on Wet Paint, Crackle’s animation channel. Crackle reaches audiences by offering a multi-platform, global syndication network across Sony devices, IPTV, social networks, and viral web. Advertisements will appear on each channel’s homepage, in addition to airing within the video player, creating a branded environment within the network. Other unique features include clickable advertisements at any point in the video player and unique backgrounds for each advertiser branded channel. With Crackle, online audiences can view videos in widescreen, 16x9 format, and have continuous viewing capability while surfing through different channels on the site.
