Tirupur association office-bearers

Coimbatore, Aug. 10

Mr A. Sakthivel, Managing Director, Poppys Knitwear Private Ltd, was unanimously re-elected president of the Tirupur Exporters Association (TEA) at its 17th annual general meeting. The other office-bearers who were reelected are Mr S. Duraiswamy (Prem Knitwear) and Mr N. Chandran (Eastman Exports Global Clothing Pvt Ltd) as Vice-Presidents and Mr G. Karthikeyan (General Textile Industries) as Secretary of the association. The office-bearers would hold office for a three-ye ar tenure from 2007-8 up to 2009-10, according to a release from the TEA.
