New Products & Services MSD India launches Invanz
New Delhi, Aug. 10 Merck Sharp and Dohme Pharmaceuticals (MSD India) has launched its registered injectable Invanz in India. The wholly owned subsidiary of US drug maker Merck claims the carbapenem antibiotic is a highly effective drug in the treatment of patients who have developed resistance to antibiotics. Invanz is indicated for the treatment of moderate-to-severe infections caused by susceptible isolates of designated micro-organisms. “The launch of Invanz in India is part of Me rck’s continued commitment to introducing medicines recognised by the medical community globally as key products for changing the course of diseases,” said Mr Murali Parthasarathy, Business Unit Director, MSD India. — Our Bureau
