Fall in exports: A vendor selling tea packets in Kochi. Tea exports from the country have declined by 11.8 million kg (mkg) to 75.7 mkg during January-July. Production during the same period has increased marginally to 334.7 mkg. The unit value of exports during the period has witnessed an increase. —
