Preferential Allotments Money & Banking - Housing Finance Dewan Housing allots shares to Caledonia, Wadhawan Holdings
Our Bureau Mumbai, Aug .16 Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Ltd has allotted 70,65,456 equity shares of Rs 10 each at a premium of Rs 65 per share to Caledonia Investments Plc, London, upon conversion of 70,65,456 optionally convertible preference shares of face value Rs 25 each held by them. It has also allocated 33,35,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each at a premium of Rs 65 per share to Wadhawan Holdings Pvt Ltd, the promoter group company, upon conversion of 33,35,000 convertible equitable warrants of face value Rs 75 each held by them. Dewan Housing told the BSE that the decision was taken by its committee of directors on Thursday. The allotted shares would rank pari-passu in all respects with the existing equity shares and that the shares issued to Wadhawan Holdings was subjected to a lock-in period up to March 26, 2009.
