SBI Funds ties up with Dena Bank

Mumbai, Aug. 16

SBI Funds Management Pvt Ltd, the investment managers for SBI Mutual Fund, has tied up with Dena Bank to enhance the fund’s reach. Mr Syed Shahabuddin, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, SBI Mutual Fund, and Mr U.S. Kohli, Executive Director, Dena Bank, inked the MoU here. “The tie up with Dena Bank is prestigious as our quality products would now be available to the bank’s customers across the country,” Mr Shahabuddin said.

The total assets under management of SBI Mutual Fund is Rs 25,862 crore as of July 31, 2007. “Bank branches are being converted into financial super markets providing a host of financial solutions like banking, insurance, and investments to customers under one roof,” Mr Kohli said. Dena Bank has a network of over 1,100 branches and satellite offices. –
