Insurance club meet held

Mangalore, Aug. 20

The Chairman of Karnataka Bank Ltd, Mr Anantakrishna, has urged members of Insurance Club of the bank to boost the other income of the bank by aggressively marketing insurance business. He was speaking at the Insurance Club meet of the bank here, according to the bank release. He observed that long-term prospect of both life and general insurance business was positive as the penetration levels were low. He urged the members to use the opportunity with aggressive marketing techniques . The release said that Delhi region was awarded the shield for best performance under insurance business. —
