Wipro ties up with Egenera

Bangalore, Aug. 20 Wipro Infotech on Monday announced it has entered into a distribution agreement with US-based data centre virtualisation firm Egenera.

Wipro Infotech will resell the full suite of Egenera’s products including the patented Processing Area Network, which has been designed to reduce data centre complexity.

“The alliance with Egenera will yield many benefits to our enterprise customers,” said Mr Anand Padmanabhan, Vice-President, Technology Infrastructure Services, Wipro Infotech, in a release issued by the company.
