Telecom service provider Hutch has unveiled a special recharge plan for Tamil Nadu students.

Called ‘Campus Pack 295’, the special recharge plan available at Rs 295, offers a talk time of Rs 75 with a validity of 30 days with reduced local call rates at 30p/min from Hutch to Hutch, 49p/min from Hutch-to-other mobile, Rs 1.20/min from Hutch-to-landline. Also, the students are offered the benefit of choosing any three numbers of their friends and family who are on Hutch to make calls at an economical rate of 10p/min.The plan additionally offers 100 free local SMS per day at Rs 1 rental and national SMS at 25p/SMS.

The launch while making mobile communication affordable and accessible to the younger generation, is intended to help them stay connected, taking the usage and talk patterns of students, according to Mr Kumar Ramanathan, Operations Director, Hutch-Chennai and Tamilnadu.
