Orbit sells space to JSW Steel

Mumbai, Aug 22

Orbit Corporation Limited, a real estate developer, has said it would sell commercial space at Kalina in suburban Mumbai for Rs 807 crore to JSW Steel Limited, JSW Power Trading Company Limited and JSW Investments Private Limited. Orbit cancelled an earlier agreement of sale of a property at Lower Parel, measuring 2.05 lakh sq. ft. of commercial space, to JSW Steel Limited and JSW Power Trading Company Limited. Orbit will construct about four lakh sq ft of commercial space for JSW at Kalina. On Tuesday, JSW Steel announced that it would be purchasing office premises from Orbit at a cost of Rs 336 crore. — O
