Bond yields down 4 bps

Mumbai, Aug. 22

Bond prices rose by 31 paise and the yield on the 10-year paper fell by four basis points. The prices were range-bound during the day but later went up due to good cut-off yields from auctions. The total traded volumes on the order matching system were at Rs 7,440 crore (Rs 3,665 crore). The yield on the 10-year paper ended at 7.91 per cent.

The 7.49 per cent-10 year-2017 paper opened at Rs 96.90 (7.95 per cent YTM) and closed at Rs 97.20 (7.91 per cent YTM), against Rs 96.89 (7.95 per cent YTM). The 7.99 per cent-10 year-2017 paper opened at Rs 100.35 (7.94 per cent YTM) and closed at Rs 100.63 (7.89 per cent YTM), against 100.38 (7.93 per cent YTM). - Our Bureau
