DLF’s Durgapur township project

Kolkata, Aug. 22

The country’s largest real estate company DLF has clinched a deal to develop an integrated township on 95 acres at Durgapur in the heart of the city. The public-private participation project envisaged by the Asansol Durgapur Development Authority is expected to be completed in four years, says a press release. Based on a cross-subsidy model, the Durgapur project will cater to all segments and comprise co-operative housing plots, residences for low, middle and high in come groups as well as bungalows, individual plots, commercial and retail space. —
