Kolkata, Aug. 22

The Women’s Coordinating Council, the nodal agency for 81 members NGOs working for the underprivileged for nearly half a century, will hold on Sunday an auction of art work by eminent artists and sculptors. In all, 40 items will be put up for auction. The sale proceeds will be used to fund various welfare projects currently run by the Council. Prior to the auction, the items will be on display at an exhibition at Stephen Court art gallery. The exhibition will be inau gurated on Saturday by West Bengal Governor, Mr Gopal Krishna Gandhi.
