There is still more on the Japanese Prime Minister’s visit. At one of the sideline functions between Indian and Japanese industrialists, the Indian side listed out the benefits of doing business in India. At least two speakers painted an extremely rosy picture of the business environment here till a representative of a leading Japanese company took the stage. Dwelling on the experience of his five-month stay in India, he listed out point by point the bottlenecks of operating in India. So exhaustive and comprehensive was his presentation that the earlier speakers who had made a case for doing business in India quietly melted into the crowd.
