Rajasthan to hold 2-day summit with FICCI

New Delhi, Aug. 24 Rajasthan will organise a two-day ‘Resurgent Rajasthan: Partnership Summit’ in Jaipur starting on November 30 in association with the industry chamber FICCI.

The Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Ms Vasundhara Raje, announced this at a curtain raiser in the Capital on Friday.

The summit will focus on information technology, infrastructure and automotive parts, education, healthcare, tourism and heritage conservation. While speaking at the curtain raiser, Ms Raje said, “Our Government is laying strong emphasis on diversifying the State’s economy and putting it on a high growth trajectory. The State’s economy grew by over 8 per cent last year.

“Efficient infrastructure, power, roads and transport, besides human capital, are essential pre-requisites for accelerated industrial development and economic growth. We have given high priority to development in all these sectors to make the environment conducive for growth, to effectively support investments and facilitate business opportunities.”

The summit will include workshops and business sessions for participants. It will provide a platform for investors, business leaders, entrepreneurs and chamber members to network, exchange ideas and participate in one-to-one discussions with senior officials of the State Government.
