Kottayam, Aug. 25 Domestic rubber prices ended almost unchanged on Saturday. Market activities were an extremely on a low key as most of the traders were off for Onam holidays. On the physical front, sheet rubber ruled flat at Rs 85 a kg both at Kottayam and Kochi as on Friday. In futures, the September contract on NMCE was quoted at Rs 84.75 ( 84.59), October at Rs 80.21 ( 80.09), November at Rs 79.48 ( 79.33) and December at Rs 79.01 ( 78.89) per kg for RSS 4. The transactions totalled 642 ( 1,661) tonnes. The September futures finished the session at Rs 84.55 against Rs 84.36 a kg on MCX. Spot prices were (Rs/kg): RSS-4: 85 (85); RSS-5 : 83 ( 83); ungraded : 80 ( 81);ISNR 20 : 82.50 ( 82.50) and latex 60 per cent: 60( 60).
