Zydus Cadila files IND application

Ahmedabad, Aug 30

Zydus Cadila has filed an Investigational New Drug (IND) application for seeking the Drug Controller-General of India’s (DCGI) permission to conduct clinical trials for its New Molecular Entity (NME), ZYH7, a drug candidate for treating metabolic disorders. The 230 scientists at Zydus Research Centre, set up in the year 2000,have focused on metabolic disorders, diabetes and obesity, cardiovascular disorders and pain and inflammatory disorders, a release said. – Our Bureau
