Bajaj brothers seek more time from CLB

Our Bureau

New Delhi, Aug. 30 The legal tussle between the Bajaj brothers, Mr Rahul Bajaj and Mr Shishir Bajaj, over the division of the group might be heading for an out-of-court settlement as both the sides sought another day from the Company Law Board to resolve pending issues.

During the proceedings on Wednesday, lawyers representing both the parties requested the CLB Chairman, Mr S. Balasubramanian, to adjourn proceeding for a day to settle the matter.

“Both the sides are trying and we are continuing the process of discussions to settle the matter,” senior council and former Attorney General, Mr Ashok Desai, representing Mr Rahul Bajaj, said.

The request was accepted by Mr Balasubramanian, who adjourned hearing in this four-year-old case to Friday. Both the sides are again expected to report before the bench on the outcome of their meeting.
