Sports Well-fielded
This one is for cricket buffs. Even as Team India struggles in England to level the 7-ODI Natwest series, news has come in that the Indian Blind Cricket Team has just returned home after a 10-day tour of England. This was the first-ever overseas trip outside the Indian sub-continent and they are back with a 5-0 victory over the English Blind team. The performance was impressive on other counts too. In the first match, England scored 210 for 7 in 40 overs and India wrapped up the match in 19.1 overs, losing just three wickets. In the second encounter, England was all out for 235 in 39.2 overs and India replied with 236 for 5 in 27 overs. The third, fourth and fifth matches were high scoring — India 395 for 8 in 40 overs and England 220 for 8, India 422 for 5 in 40 overs and England 228 for 8 in as many overs. The last match saw India scoring 383 for 6 and England replied with a score of 318 for 7 in 40 overs. OUR DELHI BUREAU
