Pune chapter of Jain trade body

Pune, Aug. 31

The Pune Chapter of Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) will be inaugurated on September 2, by Mr Suresh Jain and Mr Gajendra Patni of Patni Computers. It is a global organisation of Jain businessmen, industrialists and professionals. According to a release, the Pune Chapter will start functioning immediately. Trade seminars, workshops, training programmes will be held for the entire community. A placement call will be started. It will also work for social causes and plans to start education institutions and hospital as per the objectives of JITO. It added that 35 per cent of business conducted in Pune was done by Jains and the total population of Jains here was around 2 lakhs. —
