India's geosynchronous satellite launch vehicle, GSLVF04, carrying the country's latest communication satellite INSAT-4CR, is scheduled to take off on Sunday at 4.21 p.m. from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh, the Indian Space Research Organisation has said. This will be GSLV's fifth flight, the Bangalore-headquartered ISRO said in a statement. INSAT-4CR carries 12 high-power Ku-band transponders devised to provide DTH television service, video picture transmission and digital satellite news gathering. - Our Bureau
