Hyderabad, Sept. 2

Mr D.N. Gauri, an entrepreneur from Hyderabad, has won two national awards among the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) for 2006. His entrepreneurship for starting Techni Aids and EPE Process Filters & Accumulators Pvt Ltd were recognised with the Best Entrepreneur of the year and the second best prize for research and development. Mr Gauri, who received the awards from the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, at a function in New Delhi on Thursday, told newspersons here today that the award with trophies also carried a cash prize of Rs 1.75 lakh. - Our Bureau
