Blue River buys 10.2% stake in Rane Holdings

Chennai, Sept. 2 Blue River Capital, a Mumbai-based private equity investment firm, has acquired 10.22 per cent stake in Rane Holdings Ltd, the holding company of the Rs 1,400-crore Chennai-based Rane Group.

Blue River acquired the stake through a secondary market transaction and made the investment through its Mauritius-based investment company. Its representative is expected to join the board of Rane Holdings shortly, according to a press release said.
