Goldman Sachs, UBS pick 6.28% in Shrenuj

Mumbai, Sept. 4 Goldman Sachs Investments and UBS Securities have bought 39.36 lakh shares of Shrenuj & Company Ltd at Rs 42.50 a share. The stake accounts for 6.28 per cent of the company’s equity capital and was sold for Rs 16.72 crore.

Goldman purchased 20 lakh shares while UBS Securities bought 19.36 lakh shares each of face value Rs 2. HDFC Securities sold 12.95 lakh shares at Rs 42.50 a share amounting to 2.07 per cent of equity capital of the company.

Shrenuj had recently acquired Simon Golub & Sons, jewellery distribution company based in Seattle, US.

Shrenuj & Company, diamond and jewellery manufacturing company, exports diamonds and studded jewellery to US, Japan, Hong Kong, EU region, West Asia and Australia. The company hosts wide range of brands such as Arisia, Sveni & Brava (in India), Fiana (in France), Amante 88 (in Hong Kong), MasterCut, Scintilla88 (in Australia), Valina and Carro 74 (in US).
