Nuclear deal

Despite the tough stand taken by the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, the nuclear deal has been put on the back-burner, at least for now. However, the Prime Minister deserves kudos for aptly handling the sensitive issue without any controversy.

Though the nuclear deal appears controversial, in the long run it would strengthen the country’s progress and build a strong relationship with the US for a nuclear-free universe.
