It consists of a two-year programme at the Good Shepherd campus in Ooty, followed by one year in Cesar Ritz Colleges, Switzerland.”

The Bachelor’s degree will be presented by Cesar Ritz Colleges which also has campuses in the US and Australia.

The intake of the first batch of students will be from this academic year for the country’s first twinning programme, Dr Thomas said.

Ms Tanja Kisselef, Dean of Good Shepherd College of Hotel Management, said: “The twinning programme is of great importance.

“The need of the hour is to create managers, entrepreneurs and hoteliers who will have a global mindset.
