The stock of recently listed IT solutions firm Omnitech Infosolutions has been buzzing with hectic buying activity of late. According to market men tracking the stock, the company has clinched a substantial deal in the infrastructure management space from a large firm originally based in Europe but operating in the Asia Pacific region. On Wednesday, the stock jumped by 19.97 per cent to close at Rs 155.3 on the BSE. The stock witnessed a trading volume of 14.79 lakh on the BSE. On a week-on-week basis, the stock was up 25.24 per cent from Rs 124. As part of the deal, Omnitech will provide disaster recovery management and business continuity services, sources in the know said. Omnitech Infosolutions officials were, however, not available for comments.
