CII organising export meet tomorrow

In an effort to promote exports and create awareness among the young entrepreneurs, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Madurai Zone, is organising a conference ‘Explore Export 2007’ at Thoothukudi on Saturday.
Aimed at promoting Thoothukudi Tuticorin as Tami Nadu’s export hub, the conference will discuss presentations on import and export policy, risk management, export financing and global strategies for successful exporters.
To be inaugurated by the Secretary, Union Ministry of Petroleum And Natural Gas, Mr M.S. Srinivasan; the speakers at the conference include Mr A. Subbiah, Deputy Chairman, Tuticorin Port Trust; Mr M. Sai Kumar, Zonal DGFT; Dr B.V.R. Mohan Reddy, Deputy Chairman, CII, Southern Region; Mr Manikam Ramaswami, Vice-Chairman, CII, Tamli Nadu; Mr G. Narayana Moorthy, Managing Director, Tamilnad Mercantile Bank; Ms Geeth Muralidhar, General Manager, National Marketing, ECGC; Mr T. Krishnan, Regional Manager-Sales, St Gobin Glass India Ltd; Mr S.R. Ramakrishnan, Managing Director, PSA Sical Terminals Ltd, and Mr P.C. Johnny, Director, APL India Ltd. Coinciding with the event, the CII will also launch CII Thoothukudi District Office, a CII press release here, said.
