Gandhinagar, Sept. 7 Gujarat-based Electrotherm India Ltd and Ajanta (Orpat) Ltd today signed MoUs with their Chinese counterparts for technology transfer and investments respectively during the World Economic Forum meet at Dalian, official sources said.

Mr Mukesh Bhandari, Chairman and CTO of Electrotherm, signed an MoU with Ningbo Olisen Bipolar Batteries Co Ltd for technology transfer to manufacture high-energy electric two-wheeler batteries.

This would help Electrotherm develop products that reduce energy consumption and bring down pollution levels, thus improving the quality of life of workers, he said.
