IT Training Liqwid Krystal unveils rRapid suite
Bangalore, Sept. 7 The Bangalore-based Liqwid Krystal, providing online learning solutions, has launched rRapid suite for Web-based certified training to enable graduates become industry ready within 150 hours of learning. The courses cater to varied and specific needs within the IT sector such as a systems administrator, said Mr Anand Adikodi, CEO. The rRapid certification would be through select third parties approved by the industry, he said. Certification testing will be through Prometri c, provider of testing and assessment services, and its 300 testing centres across 71 towns. Certification charges will be Rs 1,500 upwards, varying with skill sets. The Nasscom President, Mr Kiran Karnik, who released the first set of products, said: “The skills shortage in the IT services industry could exceed five lakh by 2009, costing us $10 billion or more in opportunities lost in the global market. Such industry-driven courses could help narrow this gap.” — Our Bureau
