Mehfil (an informal soiree), mainly selling Hyderabad’s appetising biryani may slowly elude the gourmand, not because of its short supply but by the decision of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) to shut down eateries, like this one on the Somajiguda Road, due to lack of parking space or operating from buildings meant for residences. The GHMC has already closed down several restaurants and eateries along the arterial roads, and assured the AP High Court of sealing at least 100 erring establishments within a month. In the picture, workers and customers stand outside the eatery after it was sealed.
