Bacardi moves to Leo Burnett

Mumbai, Sept. 10

Bacardi Martini India has appointed Leo Burnett to handle its brands. This would include the entire portfolio of brands consisting of Bacardi White Rum, Bacardi Dark Rum, Grey Goose Vodka, Bombay Sapphire Gin & Dewar's scotch along with its premium Vodka, Eristoff. The size of the account is estimated at Rs 45 crore and was previously handled by Rediffusion DY&R. Eristoff is currently being test marketed in Bangalore and is expected to be rolled out nationally soon. Mr Mahesh Madhvan, CEO of Bacardi Martini India, added: "India is a very important market for Bacardi International. You will see us scaling up our investments in India over the next two years. We are aligning ourselves with a set of partners who can help in our journey to our next horizon." - Our Bureau
