Kolkata, Sept. 11

In a bid to improve visa application experience in India, a couple of consulate offices will be set up in Hyderabad and Mumbai, Mr Peter G. Kaestner, Minister Counsellor for Consular Affairs, US Embassy said in a statement here. According to him, “in the next few years more officer positions will be added to the US consulates and Embassy in India. In Kolkata, we project four more consular officers by 2011.”
