Al Batterjee Group’s India plans

Bangalore, Sept. 11 Saudi Arabia-based Al Batterjee Group plans to foray into information technology and hospitality sectors in Bangalore, said Sheikh Mazen Mohammed Batterjee, Vice-Chairman of the group. Sheikh Mazen said $100 million will be invested in these sectors.

Baby care products

He was here in connection with the launch of the group’s ‘Nunu’ range of baby care products in India.

The group plans to set up a plant in India to manufacture the Nunu range of baby care products at an estimated cost of $25 million. The group is targeting billing of Rs 20 crore from baby care products during the first year of operations.

The $200-million Al Batterjee Group has interests in areas such as real estate, trading and health care.
