Coimbatore, Sept. 13 Dhandapani Finance, a non-banking financial institution which operates primarily in the rural and semi-urban pockets, has opted for Nucleus Software’s retail lending solution — FinnOne.

Nucleus Software’s Managing Director and CEO, Mr Vishnu Dusad, without disclosing the value of the order said it was a prestigious one as the implementation would give Nucleus a first hand feel of the efficacy of the system.

“We have been able to take the benefit of this product to the rural region,” he told Business Line.

Dhandapani Finance has implemented FinnOne across its 44 branches.

Having successfully implemented FinnOne in a NBFC, Nucleus is exploring the opportunity among other NBFCs.

“Valuewise it may not be much, but business volumes could be huge, especially when such institutions realise that such tools would help them drive down the transaction cost, is more accurate and transparent,” he said.

Nucleus has successfully completed over 350 implementations. “The number of modules in each implementation varies from two to 250,” he said.
