Standards & Benchmarks States - Gujarat Bitscape assessed at CMMI Level 3 Our Bureau Ahmedabad, Sept. 13 The Ahmedabad-based IT consulting company Bitscape, which is in global expansion mode, has set up a wholly-owned subsidiary in Silicon Valley. It has ongoing productive partner relationships with leading IT corporates such as Microsoft, Adobe, Corel and Intel. Bitscape was assessed at SEI CMMI Level 3 Maturity Level by Mr Rajendra Khare, authorised SEI Lead Appraiser from DQS India, Transition Partner of SEI, CMU, US. The Bitscape processes are optimised to and aligned for product reliability, said Mr Khare, Managing Director of DQS India. The CMMI Process Model Framework, called CMMI for Development, Version1.2, is the international standard and benchmark set up by Software Engineering Institute of the US, for best practices in software engineering quality and is used by leading software companies for assessing and improving software development processes. In the context of global expansion strategy, Mr Kartik Shah, Co-Founder and CEO of the newly-formed Bitscape Inc in SiliconValley, said the CMMI Level 3 process orientation would help Bitscape serve its clients better.
