BoI launches schemes for traders in Kerala

Kochi, Sept. 14 The public sector Bank of India is receiving encouraging response from the trading community following the introduction of various unique schemes, which are designed to provide hassle free financial assistance for businessmen in the State.

Mr K R Kamath, Executive Director of the Bank said that it had introduced several cluster financing schemes likes loans to merchants , private bus operators , house boat owners and pineapple growers.

A new cluster finance scheme for setting up of 3,000 small dairy units by the members of SHG in association with the Neyyatinkara Integral Development Society and Milma has been implemented.
