New Projects Industry & Economy - Real Estate & Construction States - Tamil Nadu Hallmark Golden County in Chennai Our Bureau Chennai, Sept. 14 Hallmark Infrastructure Pvt Ltd, which announced the launch of an 86-acre township project, Golden County, at Maraimalai Nagar near here, plans to develop over 10 million sq ft of space in the city suburbs over the next two years. Addressing a press conference hereon Friday, Mr Hari Nagashwaran, Executive Vice-Chairman, Hallmark Infrastructure, said that the company has the advantage of acquiring a large land bank in Maraimalai Nagar over five decades back. Project rangeThis is one of the major suburbs that have seen industrial development. The company is now in the process of announcing a range of projects including Golden County, where early buyers can avail of the early offer of Rs 2,250 a sq ft. Hallmark – Rajiv Gandhi Global Infocity, a residential project for the premium segment is another such that is in the pipeline. Overseas architects and funding agencies will be involved in the project, he said. Other projectsOther projects include a Rs 55-crore service apartment and a five-star hotel in Mahindra World City, the SEZ at Maraimalai Nagar, Mr Nagashwaran said. An added feature of the Golden County will be the establishment of an indoor sports facility by Neo International Sports Academy in association with the Australian International Sports Academy, said Mr Nagashwaran.
