GE Equipment’s financial deal

New Delhi, Sept. 17

GE Equipment Services, the transport solutions arm of General Electric Company, announced on Monday that it has provided financing to ETA Engineering Pvt. Ltd (ETAPL) for the purchase of more than 200 rail wagons to be used by the Indian Railways. “We are pleased to help ETAPL increase India’s rail freight capacity,” said Mr Dhanajay Nalawade, Equipment Services President and CEO for India. “Container wagons are in great demand today with a long ord er backlog, but with the help of Titagarh Wagons Ltd we were able to find a win-win solution for everyone and help ETAPL meet its customer demand.” —
