Off-shore Development Sobha Renaissance enters China Bangalore, Sept. 18 Bangalore-based Sobha Renaissance Information Technology (SRIT), in association with Yunnan Sunpa Image Tel Tech, has forayed into the Chinese healthcare market with a joint venture company called Sunpa Sobha Software (China) Ltd. Sunpa, based out of Kunming city in the Yunnan province, will develop, integrate and produce a series of patented equipment and peripherals for telemedicine, PACS and tele-education. It employs about 4,000 specialists and about 700 technologists. “Although the initial capitalisation of the joint venture is $1 million, the joint venture estimates increase of capitalisation to $20million in the next couple of years. We target to clock $100 million in annual revenues by 2011. Our immediate focus would be formulating the marketing strategy,” said Dr Madhu Nambiar, Founder, MD & CEO, SRIT, in a statement.
