Zensar spots 3 cities for expansion

Kolkata, Sept. 18 Zensar Technologies will take a call on the location of its next IT services facility within the next few months.

As the company firms up plans to expand its footprint in India, it has identified Kolkata, Jaipur and Indore as possible locations for a proposed IT services facility that would engage about 1,000 professionals to begin with, according to Dr Ganesh Natarajan, Chief Executive Officer of Zensar Technologies.

Speaking to newspersons on the sidelines of the ICT East 2007 seminar organised here today by the Confederation of Indian Industry (Eastern Region), he said Kolkata was one of the locations that had been shortlisted with regard to the company’s expansion plans. Jaipur and Indore were the other two cities that have been shortlisted.
