New Tata Capital MD

Mumbai, Sept. 18

Mr Praveen P. Kadle, Executive Director (Finance and Corporate Affairs) of Tata Motors, has been appointed as Managing Director of Tata Capital with immediate effect. Tata Capital is a new company promoted by Tata Sons, which will be the main Tata Group vehicle in the financial services space. Mr Kadle has been working with the Tata group of companies for the last 15 years. For the first five years, he was the chief financial officer of Tata’s joint venture with IBM in India. Thereafter, he joined Tata Motors Ltd as Vice-President (Finance). He is the Chairman of Telcon, a joint venture of Tata Motors with Hitachi; on the board of various Tata companies including Tata-Daewoo; and on the board of joint ventures with partners such as Cummins and Holset. He is a member of the Western India regional council of CII. —
