TCS deploys tool for Bahrain Govt

Mumbai, Sept. 19

Tata Consultancy Services has executed an engagement for the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), an autonomous organisation established by the Kingdom of Bahrain, to restructure Bahrain’s labour market regulations through strategic reforms. TCS has developed IT systems for the LMRA to enable it to offer transparent e-services to its customers. It has also set up complex data integration and a composite mainframe system as well as software and application implementation including an Expat Management System. “ We have helped the LMRA and its customers experience certainty by leveraging superior capabilities in system integration using cutting-edge technologies,” said Mr Manoj Sahai, head of TCS in West Asia. Commenting on the partnership, the CEO of LMRA, Ali Ahmed Radhi, said: “It is the LMRA’s vision and objective to streamline and simplify the process of obtaining work visas. This requires a highly automated solution and this project would not have been possible without the strong technology support and systems rendered by TCS.” —
