Announcements Our Bureau Coimbatore, Sept. 19 The board of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd approved a Joint Venture with Matrix Marine Fuels LLC (US) in Singapore (primarily for expanding bunkering business) with equal participation by both companies. BOC India Ltd would be setting up a merchant Air Separation Unit in Himachal Pradesh as a part of its strategy to enter the market in North India. The Air Separation Unit is expected to be commissioned in mid 2009.
Opto Circuits India Ltd has entered into a technology transfer agreement with Elpro Srl Italy to develop, manufacture, and market different variants of Electro Cardio Graphs Machines (ECG Machines), giving the company ability to market the new variants of stand-alone ECG machines for domestic and international markets. Titan Industries Ltd, following an agreement with MGI Luxury Asia Pacific Ltd, a subsidiary of MOVADO group Inc and the Licensee of the Hugo Boss brand of watches, is launching the first collection of Hugo Boss watches at the International Watch exhibition at Mumbai today. Titan will be the exclusive distributor for the Hugo Boss watches in India. The Boss Black Collection, comprising watches for both men and women, would be marketed in India in a price range of Rs 13,495- Rs 49,995. The watches would be available at a number of high-end multi-branded watch stores and well-known department stores like Shoppers Stop and Lifestyle, and at select World of Titan showrooms across the country.
